Kathak and Flamenco on the tunes of Paayaliya

Posted by: Angelic Smile on: February 20, 2009

Got to know that Flamenco workshop will be happening in town. So I saw couple of videos to know more about Flamenco. I really liked it a lot. And its like a western version of Kathak, although there is no comparison between the two. Both are equally unique and graceful dance. And maybe I will attend this workshop.

Little twist in the story. The new trailer of Dev D has an awesome song- Paayaliya. I so loved it that I downloaded it and stored it in my iPod. Before going off to sleep I as usual started listening to the new addition in the playlist.

The dancer in me gears into action. The mind started working on a fusion of Kathak and Flamenco on the tunes of Paayaliya. I started imagining myself on a grand stage wearing a beautiful dress and a lovely pair of Payal (anklet).

Ohh! The absence of dance is driving me crazy. I gotta find a way out. For the meantime will search for some more lovely songs to dance upon. Any suggestions?
